Welcome to Flower of Life Counseling

The Flower of Life is a sacred geometric shape that symbolizes the cycle of creation and the interconnectedness of all life. The circle has no start or end, much like how our personal mental health journey is always ongoing and deepening.

First Time in Therapy?

Finding a mental health therapist that you trust and connect with is a deeply personal and transformative journey. It often begins with research and browsing profiles; but it's in those initial sessions, where you open up and share your thoughts and feelings, that the real connection forms. Trust develops as you feel heard, respected, and understood.

It's in the therapist's empathy, non-judgmental stance, and ability to create a safe space that you find solace and healing. This connection becomes the cornerstone of your therapeutic journey, providing the support and guidance necessary for personal growth and improved mental well-being.

Several questions to consider when choosing your therapist:

  1. Do I connect with this person?

  2. Can I speak openly with them?

  3. Can I put my trust in this person?

  4. Do we agree on goals and how to work towards those goals?

  5. Am I beginning to see progress?

Haven't found the right therapist yet?

If you answer no to any of these questions, it might be because you haven't found the right therapist - and that's okay. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling. It serves as the essential bond of trust and rapport between a client and therapist, and provides a safe and supportive environment for healing and personal growth. If this is you, let's set some time to talk through your options.
