How This Works

1

Reach Out

Give us a call, email, or fill out an appointment request! Once you are scheduled with your therapist you will receive an e-mail invitation to our client portal to complete paperwork online before your appointment.

2

Right Fit

Finding the right therapist and treatment plan for you is the most important step to continued growth in your therapeutic journey. We can schedule a free 15-minute video consultation call to see if our practice and clinicians fit your specific needs.

3

Treatment Plan

Your treatment will begin with an intake session where we gather the necessary information to collaboratively develop your custom treatment plan. This includes what progress and growth both looks like and feels like for you.

4

Maintenence

As you master your goals, you will eventually move into maintenance mode. You may not need therapy as often as problems have become more manageable and you now have the skills to continue on with your best life.

5

Check-In

We will have built a relationship that you can come back and see us anytime. Your mental health journey is always ongoing and we know your problems can shift as time goes on. We are always here for you, so you never have to start over!

Several questions to consider when choosing your therapist:

  1. Do I connect with this person?

  2. Can I speak openly with them?

  3. Can I put my trust in this person?

  4. Do we agree on goals and how to work towards those goals?

  5. Am I beginning to see progress?

Haven't found the right therapist yet?

If you answer no to any of these questions, it might be because you haven't found the right therapist - and that's okay. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling. It serves as the essential bond of trust and rapport between a client and therapist, and provides a safe and supportive environment for healing and personal growth. If this is you, let's set some time to talk through your options.

It's Normal to Have Doubts

Many people hesitate to try therapy due to concerns about judgment, stigma, or the effectiveness of counseling. However, these doubts are common and natural. Therapy offers a safe, confidential space to address various issues, and seeking help is a courageous step towards personal growth and well-being.

Do You Accept My Insurance?

Currently, Flower of Life Counseling does not accept insurance and are private pay only. We do this so we have more freedom with your individualized treatment plan and your health information only stays with the people who need it most: your therapist. If you are interested in submitting a super bill to your insurance company to receive reimbursement, reach out to one of our therapists!

Are There Payment/Affordability Options?

We understand that things happen. If you have questions about payment or affording therapy, reach out to one of our clinicians and ask about sliding scale options so we can find the right rate that works for you!

What if I Can't Come in Person?

No need to stress about coming in person to sessions if that is not for you. We offer convenient virtual sessions!
